Daily rate contract (6 month initial contract, with a strong likelihood of extension/conversion to permanent) available for a Technical Business Analyst with a data and AI focus. Hybrid role based in Sydney, Brisbane or Perth.

Our client is a fast-growing AI consultancy specialising in AWS-backed agentic AI solutions, delivering AI and data projects for national and international clients. The engagement is with a major global enterprise looking to add an AI-assisted intelligence layer to an existing reporting system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running discovery with users on documenting processes for the existing reporting & alerts system
• Eliciting, documenting and prioritising requirements for AI-assisted use cases such as predictions, alerts and insights
• Mapping data flows and integrations between various systems and devices
• Building the decision criteria and scorecard used to compare solution options, together with the solution architect
• Working with the solution architect and UX designer to build rapid prototypes

About You:

• Strong BA experience on large enterprise data, analytics or AI products, with a data and reporting background (data mapping, BI requirements, data pipelines)
• Integration or ERP systems experience: understanding how enterprise systems connect
• Highly desirable: AI/ML project experience, such as framing use cases and defining model output requirements
• Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping and workshop facilitation skills, with confident stakeholder management in complex organisations
• Nice to have: construction or mining domain experience, and AWS data and AI services

Rate:

$800-$900/day incl. super, depending on experience.
